Have you ever been in my situation? How do u deal with it?

This guy asked me out in college but I couldn't commit to him at that point of time as I had other issues to deal with. Now he's moved on n' I just can't seem to get over him! Will we ever be given another chance? Why does it take so long for us realize what's happening before its too late!?!?

Yes I've been in your situation before when I was a teenager. He's the most romantic guy I ever met in my whole life. I really really like him a lot - but I was an introvert who doesnt know how to express my inner feelings when I was a teenager. I was having so many problems/issues in my family then.....

However he loves to go disco which I hate. Once he invited me when I met him in a shopping centre with a group of friends. I declined but I should have told him I didn't mind to go to other places. After that we'd never met and he never called me again.

No second chance will ever knock at your door again.

First contact him, and talk to him. Find out if he is still single and suggest meeting for a drink or something to catch up. Then when the moment is right look him in the eye and say "can you tell me why i was so silly in college, because I should have got with you when i had the chance".. if he is single and has a pulse he will want to see what happens next.

Sometimes after the situation has passed, you are farther away from it - and you can see it more clearly. At the time it may have been too much for you to deal with. If he does give you another chance, just be careful that he is not doing it to get back at you for turning him down. "People may not remember you, but they remember how you make them feel" is a saying, so if he is still hurt by your rejection, he may try to hurt you as well. If you still want him back, try to make him feel good any way you can, especially his ego!

What are "other issues" that really prevent from persuing him at that time. It's difficult to answer ur question w/o knowing the root of ur symptoms "other issues"
