Try cutting your hair in layers. Make sure it is not too long, because the weight of your hair will pull the curls down. Also, I've discovered just recently that mousse is a hell of a lot better than gel. I use Loreal Springing Curls Mousse. It gives me more body and more curl than gel ever did.

Okay... judging by your other questions... someone is really nervous about 7th grade. Trust me... it's not even close to what it's cracked up to be. I just got out alive and well. Just don't worry yourself over it. Other people WILL notice if you do. And as for the curls... get your hair wet, and use hairspray and/or gel on it without drying. It's a really cute and popular style these days!

Hi, Have you tried "IN 10 SE" It's distributed by Lamaur corp.
I have the same hair It's a curl control micro-emulsion. It actually
make my hair very manageable and it does what I want it to do.They have a website also,www.b-intense.com. I would go on the site to see if this is what you looking for.

I used rag rollers overnight for prom... Just gelled them as I rolled them and kept it in till the last possible moment... here's a pic of how it looked. The rollers came from Target and were very cheap. You just have to get a good, patient friend to help you out with it.
...obviously, I'm on the right. I think the gel was LA Looks... your basic walmart or target hair gel - it held all night!

I recommend buying the book "Curly Girl" by Lorraine Massey. It will change your life!! Going "no-poo" is kinda strange at first but the end result is worth it!

Straighten your hair then curl it with an iron or curlers. (My experience says curlers give more bounce)
