Pros
Helping people
Understanding live in general

Cons
No family life, No sleep
Having insurance dictate how you serve patients
Having to do assembly line volume care if you call it that
Hating being a doctor because you cannot do it they way you want to
Retraining because you cannot give the care you want to
Having accountants at insurance tell you what medicine or tests you can do when you have all the experience and school.
liabilty and lawsuits

Being in healthcare in the US pays well, but is highly stressful. It is high volume and they expect no mistakes. People do not let us spend time with patients. I am not a doctor but know doctors. I used to work in health care it burnt me out and made me ill. I do not work now at all. I am home sick. The system chews up up and spits us out.
