We are the most arrogant animal on Earth. We all have our own concept of God (everyone's is slightly different) and yet we insist that he created us in his image?
We are the only living thing on Earth who's sole purpose is to rape it of it's natural resources and leave behind waste and decay.
Right.... we're made in God's image and my Aunt Tilly kicks field goals for the Rams. If anything was "godlike" it would have to be trees, at least they give back to the earth what they take.
What were those guys smokin' when the made up the Bible?? Must have been some "righteous" stuff, man.

Who says God had eyes? He sees everything, but who says it's through eyes like ours. We are physical beings and therefore have eyes, and since we have no other way than to describe God, of course we would describe him in our likeness. However, it's actually the other way around. We were created in his likeness. But to what degree? Maybe not our physical bodies, but maybe in our spirit. It's a hard question to answer because no one has the answer 100%, only guesses.

No one said that god had eyes...at least no one that I know of...maybe I am missing something in the bible...however the pictures that you see of God, well I believe God comes to us in many forms......
If you think of the Holy Trinity - Father, Son , and Holy Spirit...
well to me it doesn't have a certain shape...Kind of like a little floating light...
My thoughts are that Humans draw, talk about God in a way that we would be excepting of him if he was to appear in front of us.
Unfortunetly I think that many people needed something tangable when it came to God, Because if people thought he was to show up being a spirit or ghost people would have run.

I don't think God has any physical features like humans. Since It lives outside nature It can take any form and probably has a form that we are not even aware of, nor could we understand the composition of that form.

God is in us all. Stands to reason since we have eyes, therefore god has eyes. So simple! I am surprised that you even had to ask this question. My god!

Because we feel the need to make a human elevated into a Godly position. And humans, naturally, have eyes.

If we were created in his image, then why do we have reproductive organs. Does God go out on Fridays looking for a chic to bang?
