The most accurate Greek scholars Westcott and Hort, removed the capital G where it pertained to Christ. Removed because they found it to be wrong.
The proper rendering is 'The Word was with God and the Word was god.
See the difference. He is not God, and the Bible is clear, he worships God.
The works of Westcott and Hort are world renown with Greek scholars, but not popular with church because it then corrects beliefs. Belief they don't want to change.

John 1:1 Jesus IS the Word. He is 100% God AND 100% man. If you believe in the Trinity, you understand God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. 3 in 1. John 1:14 says that The Word became flesh and lived for a while among us. That is Jesus. No mortal man has seen God at any time. Jesus was much than a mortal man, but he was 100% human. I hope this helps. Good question!

In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. If you go all the way back to Genesis it states let's make man in our image. This being the image of the Father and the Son. The Word was God= Jesus The Word was with God= Jesus The Word was God= Jesus No man has seen God at any time; Means that no mortal human being has been able to see God. the only begotten, Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, (Jesus is the one and only Son of God, bosom in Greek is chest. )He held His Son close to Him. As a mother holds her child or a father holds his child, infant close to their bosom. he has declared him= announced him. To many people get the impression that Jesus was a mere mortal. He in fact is the Son of God. This adds a little more stature to Him. My own son is more important to me than say the neighbors son. He would be my first primary concern. There are a lot of wills that lie in testate today because of the inheritance issue. Jesus did not have this problem. Is it as clear as muddy water.

John 1:18 means no one has seen God at any time, ever. The only begotten Son, declared God or testified of God or spoke of God. To help you better understand it, here is an illustration. If you met my daughter, you met part of me but you never saw me. It is like the same thing. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are the same but work in different ways. I hope I clarified it a little bit for you.

because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
The truth is there my friend there is a god! There is man but they are not one!
If god is existence and knows what you are doing as of right now he would have to be a 4d object to see the world around you.
The earth is a 3d object and can only be seen in a whole with 4d eyes making your god existence if he sees you now.
This is a lie my friend for god is the creator and if you never realize this in your life just remember who you should serve the man or the maker!
Good luck to you. I hope the cave you are in is filled with light from the entrance, walk towards that light the truth is out there!

If Jesus was someone sepperate from God then there would be a problem wouldnt there... In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word WAS God... Jesus is the Word as you can see He was made flesh to dwell with us according to John 1:14... Jesus WAS God before He came to Earth, not a sepperate being that could "see Him" If I say "No one has seen me" does that mean I cannot see myself?

Jesus is the God Himself....Jesus Christ....means Jehovah become Saviour.....There is only one God - YHWH ( Deut 6:4 )but the name is never reveal until His birth as man..you can refer Matthew 1:21. Jesus is fully God and fully man....Jesus also said He and Father are one.....when you see me you see my Father. Jesus is the image of the invisible God....so is very simple is Father,Son & Holy Spirit is actually the one God ( YHWH ). For example....you are son to your mother, father to your children and husband to your wife.....but you are still yourself right ? The Father, Son and Holy Spirit is the 3 menifestation of one God. If still not clear let me have another example....water....water can be ice, also can be steam and also can be water itself...but does it means there is 3 different water and yet one water. You also can read Isaiah which contains the prophecy of the coming Christ and here is the link that can help you to understand more of the Jesus that we serve and love. May our Lord Jesus Christ bless you always and may His Holy Spirit speak in your heart.

In this world came Jesus, He was not of this world ,but of the word of God. He became among us, he gave us the spoken word of his father. The father was the beginning. We are of the image of the father, in use we can see Christ. The Spirit of the Lord can live in us and through Christ, we are better people. I have only see Jesus in my dreams. Three times when I was in great need of healing he carried me! The most vivid was the time I was lost to the world and in fear of sleeping I would die. He place his hand around me and held me safe from all danger, I sleep and have tried to hold the word as a path of living in the world. His hands were so big, thy were giant and he cupped my body in his palms. That was the a feeling of safety let me tell you! le
