it means that you are just as worried about nothing as most other young parents
if the toes are still the same length once your little one starts walking, then it's time to ask questions
right now: 10 however-long toes, 2 ears in the right spots, 10 fingers fully attached and everything else about normal sized (the head most likely looks somewhat out of proportion too?) is perfect!

It is simply genetics. As the baby's feet grow, the proportion of the toes may change. Don't worry about it.

Babys grow into their parts, right? And if he/she gets older and they are still the same length, I don't think it's a big deal.

In Chinese medicine & reflexology if the second toe is longer on the right foot than you take after your mother. If it is longer on the left than you take after your father. Maybe your baby has even traits from both parents!?

it means that mom or dads feet looked the same way when they were young.....there is nothing wrong at all.....just be glad the index toe isn't longer than the big toe

I think that's pretty normal. Babies feet are so goofy looking, sometimes super chubby or funny shaped. But hey, they grow so fast and change alot so don't worry. My daughter had no arches until she turned about 9 months old. But now her feet look normal.
