Hell no! Don't date anyone more than 5 yrs older than you, dude. Long-distance relationships don't work either. You're just asking for trouble if you follow through with this.

In my experience long distance rarely works. Especially when concering a budding relationship. On the other hand, distance actually helps you ease the age difference. In a relationship where one partner is older then the other, the older partner often seeks to take lead. While it feels nice to have someone to watch over you, at times its stiffling. Often times it becomes a struggle for dominence. With younger girls and older guys its not as much of a problem, but in your situation, it might be. Are you ready to accept that she has more experience than you? That she won't back down as easily from a argument as easily as someone in your peer group would? That she would have more responsibilities to consider, and probably won't be able to do what you want all the time?
If you are ready, than tell her.

Age doesnt matter, but from personal experiance you must have a lot of patience for a long distance relationship. Things always go sour because of the trust issue. 20 years age difference, is a steep number, but as long as you like her why not. When it all boils down to it who cares how old or young as long as you are happy with your decision

First of all why are you so attracted to her i would think that a guy in his late 20's would be interested in a guy this old but i think u should just tell her how u feel as best u can

Have you watched a movie called 40 Yearls Old Virgin?

You might not be a virgin, but well, your story is almost the same. It doesn't matter whether she is single, a mom, a widower, a grandma or anything, if you like her, and she likes you, why not?

Just go for it!

when you love//like someone, age shouldn't matter
my bf is a year younger, and to tell the truth i felt very awkward about it, but then i fell in love with him, and the age didn't matter.
plus he lives in Arizona, i live in Cali, so the little things like hes older don't really matter
plus he is mature beyond his years, so it doesn't matter
so if you are mature and ready for some weirdness ((which is only for the beginning of the relationship, then she'll get used to it)) then go ahead and ask her out
good luck

Long distance is difficult. If you are willing to do that, than go ahead. Have at it! Just be ready for the possibility that it won't work out. She may be too mature for you. Who knows? How are you going to know if it will work if you won't try it?

Hey they say that all men should date an older woman among other things. Think about all the experience she most have, and therefore, all the things she can teach you. And I'm not talking just about sex.
