If you're over 15, start by telling her that you're a lesbian. And after a few seconds tell her "Gotcha!" And immediately tell her you have a boyfriend. That should help her put it in perspective.
If you're under 15, I don't think there's anything you can tell your mom to ease her mind. You can try the same trick, but I doubt it will work.

i had the sam problum an im a boy my mom got real suspicous an cam hom from work early an caut us she got real mad at me an him but now she liks him a lot an he even has a key to r apt an my mom an his mom r now frends they tak us for aids testing an an exam now an than an we promis not to do it wit anyon else i think as lon as ur not a slut an the boy isnt sleping aroun u shuld tel ur mom mabe his mom an ur mom wil becom frends an ul marry him an hav lots of kids

Plan a dinner, say that your friend is coming over, and no, don't tell your mom that he's your boyfriend. Ask her what does she think of your friend first.
If your mom likes your 'friend' whom is actually your boyfriend, then tell your mom the truth that he has became your boyfriend for *how long*.

lol i would say,"mom listen i got great news 2 tell u....I'm not gay and i have a bf" lmao,then see how she reacts,this way the way u tell her is in a humorous mood,so she won't know wheather to b slightly upset(cause i'm guessing she says ur 2 young 4 boyfriends) or 2 laugh at wut u just said(the way u said it) make sence? hope so and good luck
