This morning my puppy pooped (4am) then pooped twice around 6am-7am the last time he pooped it was watery and since I have fed him three meals. He has not pooped since this morning but has peed. He is 2 1/2 months old. Is this ok?

I know he has been trying to eat leaves and grass but I take it out of his mouth. I know that when their tummy is upset they eat grass and that will make him throw up but I am not sure if I should let him.

If you change his diet suddenly, he may have a bit problem to digest properly. If he still eats, pee and play, that means he is ok. If he is constipated, grate some carrot or apple, it will help. When dogs feel unwell (not seriously), they like to chew a bit grass, later they will vomit a bit (just spits and grass), it's normal. If he doesn't want to play, eat or drink, then take him to the vet.

Watery stools can indicate any number of medical issues. Was it discolored? Greenish? Bloody? Mucus? If so, call the vet as your puppy may need another dose of deworming or an anti parasite medication.
Also, make sure he is drinking enough water. Puppies sometimes forget to drink. They eat and then get distracted before drinking and this can cause constipation.
Giving him a little bit of canned pumpkin (plain, not pie filling) can help get things moving along for him.
Take him for a couple extra walks tomorrow and see if that doesn't help. He is a youngster and may have gotten into something that has caused an intestinal blockage which would cause a watery stool. If you don't see a normal stool from him soon you should consult with your vet. Might as well save a sample of what he does pass because the vet will probably ask for it. The fresher the better. Pick up a small sample with a plastic spoon and pop it into a ziploc bag. Write your dog's name, your last name, the date and time the sample was taken, on the outside of the bag. The vet tech will love you for it. If you can't get it to the vet right away then refrigerate the sample no more than 12 hours or so.
If he starts vomiting, stops eating or drinking and begins running a fever this would call for an emergency visit to the vet.

If he starts whining with pain sounds, he is impacted! You need to call the vet tomorrow. Three poops in three hours means something is happening. He may be pooped out until the rest digests. Ask if you are overfeeding him, while you've got the vet on the phone. Also notice if there is vomiting. If he's super constipated and he still eats, upchuck is the only place left for the food to go.

Its good for them to eat grass when they're having digestion problems. However, if he hasn't done anything after three meals he probably has constipation. Call your vet! Make sure he has lots of water, and you might try gently massaging his stomach until your vet tells you what to do-- you might have to make an appointment. He can have serious problems if he doesn't get it all out of his system soon!

okay, it iss normal for them to eat grass, do not prevent them from doing this as they know what they need more than we do. If the puppy is constipated give the puppy a tablespoon of canned pumpkin and this should take care of it.

Make sure your puppy did not get into the garbage and get a bone. Our little dog got a hold of a bone. She had to go to the vet for a doggy enima.....

If he does not go within 24 hours go see a vet. Little bodies are meant to eat, sleep and poop.

Good luck
