Jones-- I think it would be wise if you would contact the American Cancer Society. I am sure they could answer your question. The Society is great.

As a cancer victim myself I can tell you that many woman in my support group turn to the American Cancer Society. They are a tremendous help. There is also an amazing program called Reach for Recovery. The buddy-up people to help each other. Good luck!

i am a cancer care-giver. Have been doing this for several years. The hardest is taking care of family.I lost my husband to liver cancer in 2000,my 37yr old stepson in2003,andmy mother in 2003.Now i am taking care of my boyfriend who has oral cancer. It is really hard to copewith this and sometimes i just break down and cry.It hurts so much to watch the people you love suffering, but i wouldn't be anywhere else. If you would like to contact me my e-mail address is marjim1@localnet.com

My siblings and I took care of mom while she was dying of cancer. If you contact the American cancer society they will know of a support group in your own town.
