I go barefoot in public every day. Even in cold winter weather. I don't really care what other people think.
There is nothing wrong with being barefoot. It is not illegal or immoral or unsanitary or unsafe in most situations.

YOu can say you won't sue someone until you are blue in the face but because there are tons out there that says the same until it happens it's kinda like there are lots out there that are sue happy or would lie not saying you would but there are those who will. Plus for your safety you should want to wear shoes out. I had a planter wart once and let me say those hurt terrible and they say you can get them from something that you have walked accross barefooted. So what do I think if I see someone in a store barefooted well I hope they are going to the shoe dept... hahaha Is this my sister in law. My sister in law don't wear shoes that often. lol.... Picking on you if you are her lol

ok i'm a school graduate with a fifteen twelve months occupation heritage in shopper credit and Finance. I honestly have a outstanding fiance, a daughter, a house, pets... the similar old livable existence. I have a good time with going to community theatre productions, antiquing, fishing and doing organic world images. i'm also a barefooter. Now, had you no longer established the above issues about me, might want to you purely imagine i changed into very few trashy man or woman who gave no longer a hoot about my own own visual charm and hygeine? Or... might want to you purely imagine that hi, perchance she only likes going barefoot? And what the blue hell does being a barefooter ought to do with BBW's? you imagine purely large women favor to pass barefoot? Wow. That changed into prejudiced.

Hey I love to go barefoot too, and I don't see anything wrong with it personally. But you need to be careful because if you go in public places you may get exposed to some kind of fungus, or you could cut your foot seriously.Do what I do, I have a a pair of sole-less sandals, you make them with beads and knit or string them together, fit them to fit on either your big toe or second toe and around the heels.

I went around barefoot when I was a teenager, but that was just what us cool kids did.
I wouldn't dream of doing it as an adult. I love my feet soft and smooth like they are now, not all hard, calloused, and dirty like they were then.
When I see barefooted people in public, it doesn't bother me though. It still looks pretty cool in fact. Rock on!

I think Lory Q is being unfair and is demonstrating her lack of travel experience. Walking barefoot is done anywhere with a hot climate, and generally in those areas it is very accepted. Go anywhere from Cancun to Australia to Africa, it's a sign of comfor with oneself and one's surroundings. However, the store's concern is legitimate as there are irresponsible people who will sue for ridiculous reasons. I'd stay stick to the store policy but let your podiatric region run naked in tropical climates.

I think it's perfectly fine for a person to go barefoot, wear their pj's, or anything like that in a Walmart or store. I've done it so many times in Walmart and other places and they didn't seem to mind at all. they saw me and said nothing. It was pretty common where i lived in Southern Indiana. Especially during holidays like Christmas. i loved going barefoot and in my pj's to Walmart early in the morning or late at night. The small....no tiny city i lived in was a place where nearly everybody knew everybody else and didn't care about you going somewhere barefoot or anything. i think it's perfectly fine.

Most businesses have their 'no shirt, no shoes, no service' rule. And really, why would you want to go into some public place where tons of other dirty shoes have been before you and get all that dirt and stuff on your feet? At least wear flip-flops, I think those are acceptable in the summer and in Florida :)

I had a buddy who went around barefoot alot. In alot of ways he was a dork. In Their store, you must abide by Their rules, which usually means wearing a shirt and shoes. Buy some sandals, man. Do you live in Appalachia?
