Vision therapy does work for many eye problems. Lazy eyes (amblyopic) and eye turns can all potentially benefit from vision therapy. So can accommodative problems and various binocular troubles.
Vision therapy will not make you less myopic, hyperopic, or presybiopic (nearsighted, farsighted, loss of near vision with age).

It's a good free solution.
