This article is from the California Department of Forestry that states it was illegals that started the fire. I live really close to this fire, about five miles or less. I still have to leave my home and my things and my animals and go to work every day. It's very nerve racking.
I promise you this, if anyone is killed or loses their home, the people of this area will take notice of how it was started. I can't wait until they do.

It wouldn't surprise me not one bit if these illegals started this fire intentionally. What a great smoke screen for border jumpers. Pretty convenient!! We all know they are criminals and would stop at nothing to get into our country. The people of Cali will pay for the damages, support our fire fighters and take care of our families who have been displaced. Pro-illegals should be ashamed of themselves, if for no other reason....they should be ashamed for defending this particular group of illegals at the very least. What the hell does this fire have to do with hurricanes or any other natural disaster? That was a lame and weak response from gidget! And non of us can dare say; "this is America and they're innocent until proven guilty". These illegals are already proven criminals just for being on our side of the border. Intent doesn't even figure in the equation. If they hadn't been here there would be no fire here today, that's the point. I say convict these criminals, assess the damages and send the bill to Mexico. Hey, a girl can dream, LOL.

How do you know the illegals did this on purpose? Maybe it was an accident (ex. a cigarette bud) that caused it.
That fire shows that our fire services need improvement. Less funding for war, more funding for peace.

Send President Fox, of Mexico the bill....they should be billed for all damage done to American property and most especially, to the American people. He and his government sent them here. Have you seen the pamphlets they give out? They teach their people how to negotiate the desert and cross into the US. They even coach them as to what to say if the Border Patrol or police pick them up!

That is sad, I hope that they are caught because that is a felony and they can be charged, convicted, then after they serve their time they can be automatically deported.
I used to fight wildland fires. The devastation to the earth always struck me as sad.
