spray paint will cover more..but is way to thin of a coat.. I perfer canned paint .either rolled or brushed. If you are going to paint anything use canned and rollers /brushes. Slop it on and you will be way better off.

You'll get a lot more mils (thickness) out of canned paint. If you want to get that great finish that comes with spray paint, use a high-quality brush or neoprene roller. Let it get good and dry, and do some light sanding between coats for a perfect finish.

I think so because I just painted the garage room white it was dark brown wood color. Two can covered the whole room it worked better.

no, many people think so because when they brush it on it appears thick. however when you spray paint you can actually build it up thicker without getting runs because it appies so evenly (when done correctly)

THE COVERAGE WILL BE VERY DIFFERENT. MAYBE YOU CAN TRY SAMPLES ON A DISCARDED BOARD OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT TO SEE WHAT YOU PREFER.
