ok well long story short, my ex who I am still good friends with sort of set me up with his good friend one night. we hooked up(got to 3rd base- I gave him head and it was my first hookup & yes I kno I jumped the gun.) point being, I do somewhat regret doing all that stuff cuz,I wish I did that stuff w/ my ex, I told my ex about it & I think he was surprised as well cuz when we dated do anything. a few nights later my ex hooks up with our friends older sister (they only made out) but he told me he regrets that as well. we always flirt regaurdless of our status w/ eachother (weather we are together or apart). he always criticizes the guys I wana go meet to date its really annoying. we have talked about (&seriously contemplated the idea of) hookin up w/ eachother (sex) tho I am still a virgin (which he knows) he is not (or at least thats wat he told me-I think he is lyin-he said his 1st time was for an hour & a 1/2) so why do we regret hookin up w/ other people now that were both single?

First of all, he was hooking up with the other girl to get even with you. You probably made him jealous, so we he wanted to make you jealous as well. To begin with, your relationship with him is unhealthy and a waste of time. You need to move on and if I may suggest something; stay away from his friends. Find a new group of people to hang out with and if you're going to "hook up" with someone, make sure they don't know your ex. It's kind of ridiculous how you guys are going back and forth about the whole thing. You haven't gotten back together yet, so it's obvious enough you don't need to. If you really liked him and thought that there was still a chance for the two of you to get back together, you wouldn't have messed around with his FRIEND. It doesn't matter that he hooked you up with him...he did that so he could try and get over you. Anyways, I think the two of you need to grow up a little bit before considering a real relationship with anyone.

Okay, reminds me of when I was in high school. To answer your main question, sounds like you guys still like each other. In response to the rest of your story, I can't help but say...
Hooking up with you ex's friends are a bad deal because they just look at you as a whore, even though they won't tell you that. And I would stop giving guys head on the first hook-up. They won't like you for anything more than that because they already know that you'll do it without having to actually like you. Guys like a chase. And I have this theory that there are two categories for men: girls they like, and girls they only like to f***. Once you're in the second category, there's no way out because you're considered tainted. Putting out hurts you more than it helps. If not for that reason, just to have some self-respect.
