We take for granted the deeper issues of why some people stray from there significant others. Yes, without any sense of pride I have. Approximently 6 years ago my husband started drinking triples on the rocks to deal with his physical pain. He became a man I did not know, much less married. If Alcoholism is a disease, and if marraige is for better/for worse, sickness and in health... where do you draw the lines? He was such a fantastic father to a son whom was not via blood lines even his. I couldn't ask for a man to love another mans son as much as he does. So although he ended up being a lousy husband, I chose to stay and do the proper thing.

He is 25 years older than I, and not in very good health. He fell asleep at the wheel of his vehicle and is quite a mess. Last July he fell in the kitchen and was paralysed from the shoulders down. After undergoing spinal surgery, he was walking and doing better than he had in years. While in rehab, the physical therapist was not doing her job, and he fell again.

He is now confined to his wheelchair or bed. He is 6ft tall, 113 lb at last check. He is COPD, Emphysemia, broken bones from being so brittle all the time. He is 68 going on 80, and requires fuill time care.

Two years ago today I replied to a yahoo personals add looking for a friend and someone I could hang with and do things with. I don't as a married woman like going out dancing alone and the predatore feeling from men, or going back to my vehicle late at night.

The two of us hit it off instantly. He has seen me through many difficult times with my husband and I don't know how I would have gotten through them without him.

I will never leave my husband. I have wanted to talk to him about my situation, but he is an Ol Skool gentleman whom still loves me deeply.

My husband and I may not have the best of relationships, but he always has been, and always will be my best friend... My rock.

So why are you having an affair and what is missing in your relationship? Is your relationship with your significant other worth saving, and if not..... why are you still in it?

Some women do it for the thrill of getting away with something they shouldn't...

Some women do it to assure themselves that other men find still find them desirable...

Some women do it because their partner may not be giving them something they need, but it is not something worth ruining the relationship they have, so they go else where to find that one thing once in a while.

Some women do it because they no longer love thier partner, but feel obligated to stay in the relationship-- ie "for the children" or "divorce is against my religion and my church would excommunicate me, but adultry is a sin that can be forgiven," etc.

I've never cheated. Being attracted to someone is natural and it will happen, but it's about the respect you have for your spouse, not so much love. (in a lot of cases, love just ain't enough)

You can't control the emotions, but you can control your action.

No i think its stupid i mean if you want to be with someone else get rid of the one u have. Theres no point in being wit 2 ppl at the same time. If you want to hurt them burn their clothes or sell their dog, but dont cheat its lame

No, I don't cheat. Haven't thought about it (does dreaming about it count?) I do know someone who did, and it just about ruined our family. It is not worth it to me, I have too much to lose.
