It doesnt matter what time of the day you eat the important thing is that you work out a shedule that works out for you so that your eating at around the same times everyday.
The reason for this is if your eating every three hours on the dot your body will get used to that shedule and will not store as much as fat because it knows it will get energy.Where as if you dont eat for several hours then you eat a lot then eat a little later than not for awhile and so forth your body is like what the hell and will store more food as fat as a saftey incase you dont feed it for another 3 days.

I found that it works better to eat about 6 times a day. Breakfast, mid AM snack, Lunch, mid afternoon snack, Dinner, and then a snack before bed. Keep in mind what you eat for these meals and snacks will affect your weight. Your awake time should determine when you eat. Separate evenly throughout the awake time. This will keep your blood guclose level even and your energy level up.

Dependent upon your metabolism, you may not truly need three square meals a day. I do recommend monitoring you protein, vitamin and fiber intake as well as your caloric intake so that you do not become deficient... You'd be surprised on how little the human body can survive on, but prolonged lack of sustenance can lead to permanent damage.

If you are trying to loose weight, eat when you are hungry. There is no set time. Just do not load up on carbs at your late night binge. That is what makes people fat.

Actually, it's healthier to eat many small meals per day. Having 3 big meals is pretty bad for you, you should try snacking throughout the day.

I would guess that it would be when you are hungry for me it between 4-5 hours it matters how active you are

eat when you are hungry...this is your body's way of saying you need fuel. everybody is different, there's no specific time that one "must" eat.
