I think that anyone that wants to come to America should come in legally, and also learn to speak English.

Theoretically,it would balance out eventually.Thats because Americans could also immigrate freely to Mexico and that would end the socialistic state that Mexico is in and therefore end the oppresion of it's ppl.It would create a more diverse economy where ppl would have actually have a choice of services and products.
My idea is IF this were to happen the Mexican government would have to change it's laws.If there were open borders and Mexican nationals could come here and open businesses and such ,WE should also be able to do the same In Mexico. That would create a more capitalist economy, instead of a suppresive economy, where only the rich gain and the poor are screwed.
The problem I have with open borders is friggin terrorists.Since 9/11 I have knowledge that there are ppl that want to hurt our great nation. And I have a problem with that.
Remember 9/11 pll.I don't want open borders.

Because there are reasons for the limits on immigration of poor people, which is why all countries that subsidize services like education have such limits. Even if poor people pay all taxes for their income group most of the cost of their education and other services is paid by others. Our schools and health care are failing in areas where illegal aliens concentrate and these locally funded services have to strain to cover those illegally here. That is particularly so with education where they require ESL services which are very expensive among educational programs.

Education is so expensive that Mexico, one of the larger economies in the world, declines to provide universal education for its children. If the borders were open everyone who wanted their children educated for "free" and wanted to make us pay to deliver and care for their children could legally come across the border. Things would be even worse than today with the 12 to 20 million illegals here.

Also, we need border security to slow terrorism and to keep out criminals. My understanding is that the 4% of our population made up of unscreened illegal immigrants makes up 25 to 30% of our prison population. That needs to stop.

I easily wish no longer. If we do not help them, be conscious receives decrease back and they're going to stop coming! And the legal selection giving birthright citizenship replaced right into a gross misinterpretation of the 14th change.

Because that would be, like, trusting the Mexican government to keep the same security for people entering their country as we do entering ours.
Can't have any of that 'trust' thing going on, you know. Wouldn't make any money for Halliburton. Not to mention the threat of drug shipments and how much easier it would be to get coke. (the CIA can't make money on it if the price drops too much)

Because they'd never go - they'd stay over here and we can do without them. Not to mention, think of how many of them would be carrying drugs and God-knows-what-else across the border. They should stay at home where they belong and if they want to come here, do it legally.

For the same reason that you don't leave your door open and allow anyone to just walk into your house, That would be easier then having to answer the door when they knock.

DId you realize that terrorists are coming through the Mexican border as well?

That would be great! But that's just it, the Americans are scared that the Mexicans will take over, because they know that they are more intelligent.
