I cant find any places that will give me and my hubby a chance. I dont have an eviction but he does.

you only option is to find a private owner that will rent to you. Rental company's won't do it. Call and ask a Realtor. They will know someone who rents privately.

Theres 2 companies, one is called Benneric and the other is called Alternative Housing Solutions, both based in the DC area. They will rent the house or apartment using their business credit, but it comes at a premium of $100 dollars extra per month.

There are several complexes that will still rent to you. If there was a good reason for the eviction simply tell them. Some will ask for an extra deposit and some will not even know unless you tell them.

Have you considered trying to rent a flat or small house that's being rented out by a private owner? Many times they will not run you through credit checks, rather, they'll base their decision on the interview and only check work references.

i would say put it under your name, but i would only do that, (not saying he will) but if he leaves you, would you be able to take care of the apartment by yourself? and if you keep looking, trust me you'll find one! my mom owns her own business in rental property, so i know what im talking about ;]]
