Remember a few years back when they America vote which color should be the new M&M color, this was after they replaced tan with blue. America voted for purple and they replaced brown with it. Now purple is gone and brown is back. Why is that?

Don't know why brown is back in place of purple, but you can still buy purple on the website (along with 20 other colors).

WHAT?? That sucks. That's so annoying but not as annoying as Skittles. How can we taste the damn rainbow without blue?
I think the purple needed to be a deeper purple instead of a pastel purple because it kind of didn't match with the other colors...

Purple costs more to create? Just a guess. Isn't it sad that American's can vote for M & M's but don't go vote for elections!

You can still buy purple at Easter time.
And why did they revert back to brown, it's because of P.Diddy. Remember, Diddy has power in high places.

I don't know why they bothered in the first place, the colours don't change the flavour or anything.
I would have liked to seen purple though.

Both are good for you, each fruit/vegetable has different vitamins. And so as more variety, as better. Vegetables have generally less sugar than fruits.

If you have noticed that red and yellow are always the ones in all the comercials so my guess is they didn't want purple to steal the spot light so they killed him...

maybe you thought it was a purple one and you were really eating a blue one and a red one.....blue and red make purple!!
