I'm a (getting) older guy, and I've had long hair in a ponytail for years. But recently I have to admit I've started to thin on top, and have thought about a change. Should I keep it or cut?

pony tails are out. If you have thinning hair, the best solution I think would be to shave it completely. My husband did and its hot! Looks great with a goatee, too!

even though i like long hair on guys, id say it would look sexier to shave ur head. I'm not real fond of the ponytail with no hair on the top.

Well being Native American, i love guys with ponytials or braids. Just keep it nice. It'll look good before u know it. Plus you might score u a woman who likes guys with long hair..

Unless you plan on doing the ponytail "comb-up & over", if you feel you need a change, go for it..
