2 months is an awful long time to have an infection after the tooth is gone. Does the dentist know these antibiotics aren't helping?
Meanwhile the mouthwashes and oil of cloves sound like they could help at least.
Good luck!

Whoever has prescribed you 5 rounds of antibiotics is a quack. You need to go to whoever removed the tooth and see if you indeed have an infection. It sounds like they'll have to debride the area, but you shouldn't be taking a lot of antibiotics.

She may have to go to a doctor or the infection could spread and get worse (gangrene, anyone?). If it is very deep, she may also need stitches and they would probably want to give her a tetanus booster, too. Don't mess around with infected cuts. Maybe she should also seek help from a mental health professional, too, so that she can get past the issues which make her want to cut in the first place.

Gargle with 2 parts water 1 part hydrogen peroxide to clean it up. That wont fix it, but it should help a bit by cleaning it. There is no "natural remedy".

start taking acidophilous to regain proper bacterial balance in body and take Oregano Oil to kill infection. Put on infected part straight...it will burn like hell...but do it until infection gone. this is very dangerous to have infection because it is close to your brain. i take oregano oil morn and night for my health and acidophilous to replace the bacteria that oregano kills off. antibiotics kill all bacteria too so you need to replace it daily. Oregano oil can only help you...will not harm you at all...when applied to any wound or fungal growth it kills infection...great wonderful no side effects stuff.
if infection remains please go to a holistic dentist in your area or naturopathic doctor.

You can try biting on a wet tea bag.. I have never done it or seen it but its worth a try,, I am a registered dental assistant. Otherwise they will put nasty "dry socket paste" that smells like death in there but it works.. good luck
