My boxer ate a bottle rocket and I am very concerned.

Don't worry a dog has a nose that believe it or not tells it what to eat for example:
1. In the wild the scent of decaying flesh will be what a dog smells when it finds food during the winter, now to you and me dead decaying flesh would kill us but a dogs digestive tract can handle it
2. Most fireworks are made of phosphorus and sulfer both of which are minerals dogs just like humans need minerals such as zinc, iron, copper, phosphates and believe it or not silver and gold, these are all minerals. Have you ever heard of people who have eaten glass or metal they survived because glass is made of sand and sand is rock which is minerals and metal most of the time is iron or magnesium.
So don't worry your dog might not poop a pretty color but he or she will survive just fine.
P.S. When they do don't lite a match!

I've heard of dogs that eat knives and other wierd stuff and survived, but you should take him to a vet...
