Is feeding plain cooked Oatmeal safe and healthy to feed a dog?

2006-07-25 15:48:39 · 9 answers · asked by Sandra♥ 5 in Pets Dogs

I add water to it only, no milk or sugar.
He`s 51/2 months old(boxer). I`m trying to feed him a healthy diet, trying to build up his immune system up. He has DEMODECTIC mange. I know his Immune system want be developed fully till hes 1yr old. I cant stand the thought of having him dipped anymore in that nasty stuff. Its very dangerous!....He is doing sooo much better since I have changed his diet. No outbreaks or itching. Anyone have any ideals on what I could Add to his diet?

Oatmeal, rice, any type of cooked cereal is ok, if they like it. It's all fiber for them and easy on an upset tummy too. But don't add sugar to Puppys' .
