It all depends. The older you are, the less age matters. First of all, how old are you and how much older are you talking about? If you're 20 and he's 5 years older, no problem. If your 20 and these men are 10 years older, that's a still a large age difference since you're at different stages in life. If you're younger than 20 a 5 year age difference is quite large at this time. However, the older you get the less age matters. If you're just asking about being attracted and not dating well then there is nothing wrong with being attracted to men older than you. It's dating that is difficult because of being at different stages in your life.

Ok explain whats weird about it. It;s as normal as the days are long. Since day one women have been attracted to older men, I agree that it's gross if the man is in his 60's, 70's 80's or 90's and she's in her 20's. But it's not weird.

If it is, I'm weird. I don't like guys my age at all. The oldest I've dated was 13 years older than me. I also dated someone 10 years older. It's all about what makes you happy. Now, if you're under 18, and the difference is more than 3 years, you got a legal issue.

Not at all. Women mature faster than men, so men our own age seem very immature. My boyfriend, who I've been with for 6 years is 10 years older than me. Of course I knew him for several years before dating him, he is a friend of the family. We now live together. Also there are several older celebrities I'm really attracted too.

No, I only date older men. They seem to be on the same level mentality as me. Guys my age are not. But one that does matter is how old you are and are you gonna get the guy thrown in jail if you pursue a relationship...

if the man is only like 6 years older than you that is ok but like 10 or 15 that is bad

In fact its preferable that you date older, more mature, sophisticated, urbane, intellectual men.
The type that know how to pay attention to you properly, without getting distracted by nonsense.
You know, real men.

I've heard that women typically develop emotionally a little earlier than men, so we look toward older "more mature" males. Or, it could be that you're/she's looking for a father-figure type.
