Some people say it's from sleeping on the wrong side of the bed, but sometimes i feel as though something else might be wrong. The pain comes and goes, especially when i tilt my head to a certain spot. Please only serious answers.

Possibly a pulled muscle, or catching a draft on the neck. Worse case senario would be a form of cancer. Also possible is subluxation of the spine in the neck region. Check with doctor, get an x ray or two. If nothing shows on any of the tests, or x ray, then see a chiropractor, or napropath, to have the neck put back into place.

With the exception of the age, it sounds like a prime candidate for a heart attack. A young age doesn't exclude you from a heart attack, and any unexplainable chest pain is a good reason to go see a doctor. Go.

Sounds like a sore muscle. Try heat therapy (heating pad for 30 mins to an hour). If this does not lessen the pain call a Doc.

Its probably just a viral infection. Or musculoskeletal (a sprain) if it get worse or u develop a headache u need to consult your physician.
If you have no other medical reason not to take, I would suggest a Non steroidal anti inflammatory like ibubrofen or diclofenac (as long as not medically contraindicated)

It could be the way you've been sleeping. If you picked up something heavey you could have pulled a muscle. Your spine may be unaligned. That happened to me and I could only move my head one way. If you've recently been sick, your lymph nodes could be swollen.
Hope this helps.
