No, I feel everyone is entitled to their opinion. That poster has obvious issues with live and let live. It is one thing to disagree it is another to get belligerent about it.

There are many people I call friend who have polar opposite beliefs then me.

No, I don't feel that way at all. I think it's proper that atheists post in the Religion & Spirituality section, since religion is what they are trying to debunk.

I personally enjoy responding to many atheists' posts--pointing out what atheism is (many atheists are actually agnostics, as is evidenced by the questions they ask), and also taking the opportunity to respond to their ideas and concerns in a way that at least has a small possibility of opening their minds. One thing that atheists don't consider is that they are in general very closed-minded. An atheist--a proper one--claims to have proof that God does not exist, which is about as tight-minded as you can get.

But anyway, I am always in favor of good, healthy discussion, and I appreciate the chance to say what I want to say with others saying what they want to say.

Of course not. If there were no pagans here on Y/A then all I could do would be to preach to the choir as it were. I'm always encouraged when people want to come on this site and talk about God and Christ. It's a lot better than people who are glued to their television sets with never a thought for what happens when they shuffle off of this mortal coil.

no.
I am a born again Christian, and while i find it irritating (at times) the extent of ignorance here on Yahoo Answers - I readily acknowledge the fact that "RELIGION" has a very broad definition and includes all beliefs (or there lack of - in the case of atheists)...

but to be honest, i do think they should sub-divide this category into Christian, Pagan, Muslim, Atheist, Agnostic, etc...

But either way, you'll still get the same sort of thing happening; so i guess you can't win for losing.

Everyone believes in something, its just a question of what. Atheism, deism, satanism, hedonism, gnosticism, etc, are all religions too. Some people are quite religious about not having a religion.

HELL NO! Everyone has a right to believe in what they want to believe in. Things like that is why I personally have no use for organized religion. In most cases I find it to be two-faced and judgmental.

It's been my experience that most atheists favorite past time is criticizing others. Some make me want to kill them. Others make me laugh. Some only critisize when it is needed. That is why athiests are on religon and spirtuality. I think they need to get off though.

i feel so sorry for this person. she is obviously a brainwashed theist. and i am sure she is the same type of person who would deny a starving person food until they promised to convert to her religion. i guess to her paganism doesn't count as a religion. and i am sure she will tell everyone who has opposing political views, to get out of this country because it is hers

I don't mind the Atheists being on here, I just don't like it when they use slander or make fun of other peoples beliefs (or religious people for that matter).
