Seriously if the world is supposed to be only 8000 years old tops what took God so long to whip us up? Was he just floating around in nothingness thinking, "Golly gee I'm bored. It's awfully dark here...Let there be light. Ahhhh. that's good. Wow there is really nothing here. Lets fix that." And where was God before he created Heaven? Why did he create the world? Why didn't he do it sooner? It stands to reason that if God has been around forever the heavens and earth should have been around for a long time. Unless of course God made other worlds that didn't turn out so well. Maybe we're just Earth 2.0. But my main question still stands as why didn't He make the world sooner? The rest was me ranting. Hope you had as much fun reading this as I had dun typing this. Customer service is very important to us so if you have any questions or suggestions keep them to yourself.

We know from scripture that we had much to learn before we were ready to receive an Earth and a body. A third of all of Gods created spirits chose to reject His plan of salvation and were cast-out of Heaven. How was it possible for us to choose if we had not learned and grown in intelligence to the point where we knew enough to even question God's wisdom? I believe our spirits have been around much longer than our bodies or the Earth. This Earth-life is just one part of the journey.

It's one of those "mysteries" that you can ask God when you see him in heaven. There's a theory that the world is actually only a few thousand years old, but when God created it, he created it as if it were much much older so it would support life. I don't know if that's true or just some scientist trying to make sense of it. Maybe you could ask God that too!
