Erm, it is not really healthy especially if your one meal a day is junk food.
of cos you will see a difference initially because you cut down your food intake.
But in long run, with nothing to replace the food for nutrients, you will not just lower your metabolic rate and end up losing weight very slowly, you will also lose weight and look tired, haggard and end up wtih little energy.
Are you sure this is the kind of weight loss results that you want?
Or would you prefer to do what i did, go on a detox diet and lose 15kg within 2 months and still look radiant, beautiful, have smooth supple skin and become healthier and more energetic too!

It's not healthy to just eat once a day. You might lose weight now, but once you start eating regularly again, you'll gain that weight back and then some. Your metabolism will be out of whack. The trick to losing weight is eating in moderation. Eat smaller portions. The best thing to do is eat several small meals a day and keep your regular workouts. You will maintain your metabolism this way without starving your body.

The opposite is what you should do. Eat about 12 tiny meals every other hour, the lower calories and the more frequently you eat the more your metabolism works, I have the metabolism of a door stopper but when I eat very small, frequent meals it seems to help me burn more calories.
I know because when I was a teenager many, many years ago, I did what you're thinking of and messed up my metabolism, The reason it doesn't work the way you think it would is because if the body thinks it's being starved (which it does if you eat once a day)it holds on to calories. The body has many survival adjustments built in and if you eat infrequently your internal clocks andf metabolism thinks the body is being starved so it actually slows metabolism. Sorry I know this sounds confusing but it is true

you may lose weight, but that's not the best way. If you want to weight to come off and stay off, you need a lifestyle change. After a few weeks of doing this, your body will adjust and your metabolism will slow. The best thing to do (in my opinion, based on experience and research) is to eat a balanced diet low in fat and sugars, exercise regularly, and eat very small meals frequently (yes, frequently!...like every three hours) This keeps your metabolism active, so the weight loss is more likely to be stable and lasting.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

Depends on how big the meal is. It's a better idea to eat three, maybe even four small meals. Working out is good but the green tea is irrelevant. Despite popular myth, it does not help weight loss (or cure cancer or any other idiot claims naturalists make about it)

No, eating one meal a day isn't healthy. To maintain your weight you should eat around 2,000 calories a day. To lose weight, just cut some calories. I eat around 1200 calories a day to lose around 2lbs a week. 1-2lbs a week is the healthiest way to lose weight. The slower you lose weight the better chance you have of keeping it off, because that gives you time to get used to the eating and exercise habits.

no, thats not healthy. Eat 3 times a day, healthy, low fat, low cal, low sodium and drink lots of water. Exercise. You should not lose more than 3 pnds per week, if you lose more than that, when you start eating as you did before (which u will at some point because no one can maintain that kind of lifestyle) you will put on all the wt u lost. Try wt. watchers, thats a great plan. Its all about changing your eating habits. Its bad on your heart and the rest of your body to lose wt. to rapidly.

You'll lose muscle mass. The weight on the scale will drop but if your body is put into starvation mode you actually start to eat yourself. The body is very rescourceful. So losing muscle mass in essence is the body breaking down itself for fuel to run. Not smart. Low calorie not less then 1000/day to maintain normal body function. Be smart... Keep well hydrated

not healthy, by eating only once a week you've slowed your metabolism down. You should eat 3 times a day and have light snacks in between. Exericse too, but focus on what it is you want shaped up.
