Q.Why cant people get along with other people of a other race and religion?

A.Why? Some people are so brainwashed that they dont notice what they're doing. They think they're doing their religion a favor but all they're doing is going against it by making arguments and making an unpeaceful enviroment by trying to convert other people to their religion. For race, people never forgive. For example, SOME african americans say," we were slaves, blah blah blah, i hate white people blah blah blah. Im sure if you are in this generation, you never had ANY expierience on how it's like to be a slave so you dont have anything to say. Some people just need to understand that was then, this is now. Martin Luther King Jr. didnt do his work and got assacinated for nothing. And its not only African americans, its everybody.

Q: What can we do to solve this problem?

A:Nothing. If we were to do something you know how much chaos would go on? People striking on the streets, killings, and so on. You might think its okay for somebody to tell you that they cant believe in their religion, but others dont. All we just got to do is stop thinking one religion or race is higher than another and that would just solve some fighting.

Peace,
Potathao.

P.S sometimes its not religion or race, someitmes its just people.

I think there is no law and regulation which forbid someone to get along with other race and religion. It is only maybe as a habit in a certain conservative race.It is based on the opinion that someone should get along with the same race and religion in order to be in the same culture and believe.By considering this habit, they think that the differencies among them will be only a few.The narrowing differencies will be easier to get along each other. The different religion will hamper the smooth relationship and communication for individuals especially who will get married. There is no harmonize condition and situation if in a family there are different religions, among father, mother and their children especially if there is no tolerance among of them. The different religion among a family members is difficult to be solved ,because it lies on the individual faith. But different race can be easily solved by the same religion.Different culture through different race will enrich the family in a modern society.God created so many races in this world for our own sake to work together,to love each other and to help each other and do not to quarrel each other, because our God loves peace.

Work on our own conditioning - it's the only way. Expose ourselves to others and question EVERYTHING. And be completely honest with whatever seemingly horrible thoughts that pop up. Only by seeing that they're there and not letting them make us think we're terrible will they go away. I am married to a black woman and, despite years of being around her family, I still saw some major racism come up in me -- I was shocked to see all the conditioning that was still there. But I didn't try to bury it and to deny it wasn't there; the only way is to look at it, question it, and eventually it goes away. It's made me realize that there are no real evil people -- racists, etc. are all just the result of unquestioned conditioning and we ALL have some form of unquestioned conditioning. Now, as a society, how do we solve this? Education, of course -- standard curricula for acceptance? Have to also change society to where it's not so supportive of individual drives (still rewards those who take risks, etc.) but is there to make sure that everyone is nurtured. Sounds lofty but until there's no 'us versus them' attitude by society, it's not going to go fully away (because otherwise we have gain at another's expense).

To put it simply, I think people are afraid of what they don't know. To solve it, I think we all need to open our minds to be tolerant of those that are different than ourselves, as well as teach our children these values. When we teach our children that one religion/race is good and another is bad, that is when they grow up with those beliefs and we're screwed yet again for another generation. Also, we need to eliminate negative self-fulfilling prophecies. If a "poor black boy living in the ghetto" thinks he can't acheive more from his life and is destined to be there, he'll be there.

There is something in human psychology that seeks to set up divisions of "us" vs. "them" ... probably something of a genetic imperative to limit altruism in favor of these perceived as one's near relatives.

To solve it, people would have to practice and reinforce the habit of disregarding labels ... refusing to take seriously such identities of religion, race, nationality, gender, sexual identity, political "leaning", et al. We could say "people are my people" and look first to what we might have in common that labels have concealed. Why are differences bad? What a boring would it would be with 6,000,000,000+ clones :)

I love the diversity of people from all nations, especially if they are born of God, through confession & faith. I love people of different religion than me because I obey my God & I pray for them to come to the Way, Truth & Life. That doesn't mean I'll let them wound me. Okay, others can wound me, even other Xians.

I have learned how I can love others & not be wounded. By being steadfast in my faith in God. It is not what others think that is most important. It is what God thinks of me, and am I being obedient to God? That is what is important. God loves me with an everlasting love.

The Bible talks about what is required to make it to heaven. When other religions proclaim differently - it is hard to set back and know people will be sent to Hell for what they believe.

I think we just need to learn to respect other peoples religion live and let live, and try not to take offense at other peoples opionions. It's a nice thought but when one hears another saying howe they belive in this and your religion isn't right your going to where ever for beliving in it; it hurts.

People tend to open mouth, close mind. The only way to solve it is education. Teach people that even if we are all different we share common ground.
