HELLO??? Are you freaking serious? Where do you think the government gets the money to supply your freaking food stamps? Do you think there is this huge pile of money that is only for people who need assistance? The only reason you have the energy to complain is because hard working people pay TAXES out of the money they EARN and part of those taxes go to supply you with food stamps! And you have no right to call those of us who help feed you BIGOTS! You wouldn't like it if we automatically assumed you are a LAZY FREELOADER now would you??? Grow Up!!!

"bigot" is probably the wrong word.

But I pay taxes, I fund the government, they in turn supply you with food stamps. (so, yes I do pay for them) Hopefully you too, will fund the government at a better rate so the help that our government has helped you with has worked out.

Of course, like all good things, "one good apple spoils the bunch." We've all heard of the stories of the person using food stamps and driving a new Cadillac and watching a big-screen TV. So, everyone, unfairly, is labeled.

You are truly intelligent, yes, the government does give you food stamps; however, dipstick it is the American people who go to work for their wages that pays the American government that supplies you with the food stamps that buys your food. So, we as real American citizens are paying for your food stamps. I am not a bigot, but I do not think that someone of your low-caliber needs to be in my home country and telling me that I am not paying for you to live. I have to go to work everyday doing work that I do not like and I have to put up with a bunch of nasty people on the job, just to pay taxes, so that someone like you can be a leech on the American people. Go back to Mexico and eat tortillas and tacos. You owe the American people a huge apology. Have a BIG DAY, DEADBEAT!

the money that pays for your food stamps (that come from the government) comes from the millions of dollars that the people of this country pay in taxes EVERY year . . . . I have been on food stamps when I have needed help but what many people have a problem with are people that sit around on their behinds and do nothing and sponge off of the services of the government - PAID FOR by the people of this country who DON'T . . . be appreciative of what you have but also make sure you are deserving of them . . . not just someone who choose to sponge off of others ......... bigots is a harsh word!!!!!!!!

And you think the government just walks out back on capitol hill and picks the money off of the trees? The US citizens pay taxes so you can get those food stamps. But I guess that explains why we have such a problem - I guess if I could get something for nothing, I would like it, too.

The government is the one paying for food stamps but it is the people that are paying taxes that the government is using to fund its operations.

Here's my solution to the unending food stamp program:
1. you may only receive food stamps for a contracted time period. i.e. 1 year, 2 years, etc.
2. once this time is up, at least half of what was paid out, must be paid back. This can be deducted from your tax return until paid in full.
3. no more paper stamps or ebt cards. if you are on food stamps you shouldnt have the LUXURY of standing in line like me at the grocery store looking at me counting my pennies to buy a gallon of milk-while you are buying lobster and steak. solution number 4 takes care of this problem.
4. each state must build-mandated and overseen by the federal govt- a large hanger type facility. this facility will hold all generic and richfood brand products. you will stand in line at which time you will be dispersed a brown paper bag. in these bags you will collect what you need to survive. you will not "buy" I'm sorry.."receive"-cause you don't buy a damn thing- lobster, steaks, shrimp, pork chops etc. no sir, you get regular old ground beef. now this national plan may need more tweeking but is fair to say at this point monthly standing in line to get your brown paper bags will send most of these people from the "BROWN PAPER BAG LINE" to the "JOB HOTLINE". ohhhhhh, if I could be president for a day!

Amazing how the definition of poverty has changed.

Now you can collect food stamps while owning a computer having an Internet connection (probably high speed cable, eh?). You probably have a cell phone or two, among many other material things.

.....and by the way, you are welcome for the money to fund those food stamps.

If you deserve the food stamps, I'm sorry you get that treatment. However, if you are just mooching...shame on you. Oh, we "bigots" do feed you. The government provides you the food stamps, which are funded from our taxes.
