The reason it scared so bad was from itching it too much. It is on the top of my right wrist. Getting it surgically removed would cost too much money for me right now. Does anyone think something with salicylic acid would work? I've been asked if it was a wart before and so I wonder if those two things heal similarly.

I got the exact same thing. It was a mosquito bite that kinda never went away. I went to a doctor, and instead of surgically removing it, they decided to use this tool that burns away the surface, however your case may be different so I suggest you go to a doctor first for advice. I know there are alot of topical solutions that work for things like that, they just may take longer.

There are multiple vendors out there now selling topical scar treatments -- Band-Aid, for example, makes "scar healing strips" that you wear over the scar for most of the day (23 hours a day), for several weeks in a row. These treatments supposedly will flatten raised scars and reduce redness. I think Neosporin also makes a scar treatment product.

Check your local drugstore -- try the first aid section. I think they're definitely worth a shot. But don't put something on the scar that isn't made to be put on scars -- you'll be running the risk of irritating the scar instead of mellowing it out. Not a plus!

Incidentally, I have lots of scars and think they're cool. Badges of courage, really. But I can understand why others may not feel the same way about their own. Good luck, and if these over-the-counter treatments don't help, talk to a doctor or dermatologist for more ideas.

Moles, warts, and epidermis labels are normal epidermis lesions that grow naturally. Although they're generally non dangerous, they could be uncomfortable if found on a visible part including the face. Epidermis wounds like moles and warts cause self confidence problems to the sufferers. A person with moles normally becomes a loner because they do not want to be seen in public. They think embarrassed to be out in public areas, so depression will obviously follow but now you can modify all this with this particular guide from here https://tr.im/TQrhG , Moles, Warts and Skin Tags Removal eBook.
