I was taking birth control pills and i quit taking them now i have not had a period, but i didnt have sex after i quit taking them! Since i quit taking them would it confuse my period?

its your body still coming down off of the pill you will get one soon im sure

It happens if you've been on birth control for a while your period does get irregular, but the best things is to go for a check up because it's not healthy.

Yea. Since you have stopped taking the pill, your body is having to readjust of not being on it. Your period should balance out again soon.

I'm not sure, but I think sperm can live in a woman's body for so many hours, so maybe the last day you took the pill, you also had sex. There is that small chance you could be pregnant, but I doubt it.

did you have sex within a few days before you quit taking them? sperm can live up to a week. if you stopped taking them in the middle of your normal cycle then maybe it is just taking a little bit to catch up.

Your body is just readjusting its hormones to pre-birth control conditions. You should call your doc and get confirmation that everything is okay though, just to be safe.

hormonal imbalances can cause that sort of thing. you have to let your body get used to making its own hormones again. you might be irregular or miss even a whole period. just wait and stay abstinant and you will be fine.
