Even if everything in the Bible isn't true, can't we still use it to learn important lessons about life?

I believe that fear is the main factor in people that choose not to believe in the Bible, what if there was a hell and a lake of fire where everybody that sin would go to for eternity, what is God and Satan were as real as you and me?
what is only a few (considering the amout of people that is in the world today) were to be saved?
what is we were in the times of like in the times of noha... right now?
what is it was an evil spirit inside of you that kept you from seen what is true?
ofcourse the bible is true and it can be used to learn inportant lessons about life and ofcourese that even if it wasn't true you could learn imprtant lessons about life!

the battle between good and evil started long time ago, and now the war has just began. and the battle field is in your mind.
for every choice you make you made a decition...freely. was that choice in your favor or against you?
how would you know, how to know if it was a good or bad decision.
where is it written?
supposed the bible never exited or the so called religous books?

and how would you know it was the right decision or the wrong one and would it matter?
how would you know what is good and what is evil?

some people would say it would be ok to kill the opposite raise?

how could anybody teach anybody if they were not thought?

what if every word in the bible was true?
then what... and you are naked ifront of the everlasting man along with everybody ealse that thought like you and sin like you?
I am not a bad person someone who does not belive in the bible or God would say, "I haven't killed, I don't hurt anybody I just work love my family and pay my bills" and I say, don't love your mother and your father, hurt everybody, and don't pay your bill etc... becasue the bible teaches about responsability and love and many other thinks. don't be a hypocrit, do away with the love in your heart, that comes from God, God is love! get it out! hypocrits that claim to belive not in the bible yet you used to your adventage, do away with loving your family and your neightbor, that is in the bible and Jesus says to love your neighbor, don't be a hypocrit and don't use it.
this is not directed to the person who ased the question but to the mentality there is about the bible and God! if you read the bible you undersood not, becasue God Chooses his people, people DO NOT choose God! If you understand not you are not chosen... get it! not all be saved!

There was a time when most people of the world used to think that the planet earth was flat. most people at that time.. hundreds of years ago believe that. if they had picked up the bible they would have red the words "the earth is a circle" on some bibles and on the others "the earth is a sphere" to me same thing.
your choices are real, and they mean something and you will answer weather you bilieve it or not.

If the bible is not true then why would you want to use it? If something is not true then it is a lie and why would you want to live a lie?

We must remember the Bible is very black and white. It is all true and therefore to blaspheme it is against God and for the world. Remember in James, it states if you turn against God and go for the world you hate God. So, in stating that the Bible is a lie, could we state you are blaspheming the Holy Spirit which is a sin that will never be forgiven......I fear for those who blaspheme the Holy Spirit. Why would the Bible not be true - it has been proven over and over again. If the Bible is not true - then who can save us from this world? Who has the power to do that? No human - no human made up God - so according to you - we are all screwed?

I am not an atheist, nor am I someone who believes in the Bible. But yes, even though there is a lot of bad things in the Bible, there are some good things we can get from it. Helping the poor, "thou shalt not kill", not lying, and honoring your parents, are just some of the good things mentioned in the Bible.

I believe that you should learn important life lessons from all sources not just religious scriptures. Like Aesop's fables. Untrue, but their ending has moral values.

Have you read it? The bible did not teach ANYTHING that was a new idea.
If certain parts give you strength, then go for it. It sounds like you can already weed out whats good and whats insane.
