You can feel a hard small lump like in a breast exam. Manipulate both testies slowly & thoroughly all over, each one. If you feel something "foreign" get off to the doctor a.s.a.p. Testicular cancer is one of the success stories of cancer research. (there are't too many). Cis-platin, and cis-rhodium, and cis-ascorbate etc. treatment have improved the success rate outcome dramatically. But it should be treated early.
Every male over age 20 to 25 and older should check thier gonads once a month.
Or have your girlfriend do. Tell her she gets this golden opportunity to play nurse. And you'll reward her handsomely, after she is done.
Dan.

The most common symptom is a lump, irregularity, or swelling in the testicle that you can actually feel or see.

Additionally, you might feel a pulling sensation or feeling of heaviness in the scrotum; a dull ache in the groin or abdomen; pain that may come and go in the testicle or scrotum; tenderness or enlargement in the breast area; and a sudden collection of fluid in the scrotum.

Note that MOST lumps in the scrotum are NOT testicular cancer. But if you have noticed a lump or other change, see your doctor ASAP to be on the safe side. If detected early, testicular cancer is highly treatable -- in fact, it's one of the most curable cancers you can get!

Pain, and swelling in the scrotum. Get tested immediately, as metastasis(Cancer cells breaking loose, and growing elsewhere) can occure very quickly if the testicle is cancerous. If you have it removed, you will still be able to father children, and there is a prosthesis(Implant) to keep things looking normal after the surgery. They will probably destroy a gland between the scrotum, and abdomen, to prevent the cancer from spreading, and will put you on testosterone therapy. You will receive chemotherapy for a time, and marajuana will stop the nausea associated with the chemo.

Sugar hit this one right on the nose. Testicular cancer is most prevalent in males under the age of 35 (after 35 incidence is so rare that it's almost nil). You should check yourself on a monthly basis. If you're not familiar with how to do this go to: http://www.ontumor.com/testicular/selfexam.htm to learn how.

sure, testicular melanoma may be very ordinary in younger men age 15-35. Your signs do sound atypical, i recommend you inform one in every of your dad and mom you're involved and notice a health care provider immediatley. You certainly not recognize, it would now not also be testicular melanoma, it would be a hernia, the ones are ordinary down there to! however larger to be riskless than sorry! I want you good fortune! :)
