Your body can feed on that stuff if it doesn't come out.

In the first year of life, basic functions always brings us pleasure:Oral :sucking a pacifier, eating, palating sweets etc.even burpng (elching) can be pleasant for some babies.
Anal:Relief of the distal bowel (the terminal part of the intestine before the anus), when empty, brings discharges of the vagus nerves givin pleasure)
When too much pleasure coincides with traumatic experiences, humans suffer from fixations, which are in themselves, distortions of poleasures (oral or anal fixations) which are rare.

If you were to watch and see how hard your baby is concentrating to get to that point, you would know why s/he would be happy. No more concentration or straining is required for the moment!
