Could this be a sign of more changes ahead? I know she is WAY to young to shave her legs, but is it normal for them to be sooo hairy? Her legs, and thighs and they LOOK like they need shaving!

No I know for a fact she didn't shave them already. I know my daughter, she is a clutz..lol. If she did I would have known it because she would be bleeding to death... she would be cut up everywhere!

it's not about being old enough...it's about looking good in from of peoploe....how would you feel if you had to walk around the place with hairy legs and you couldn't hide it all cuz you were "too young" to shave. she probably doesn't know how and she needs help learning.

This is a sign of Puberty, Dont panic. its Normal. Some develope early, some late. Just remember, she`s your baby. Offer her all the love and attention she could possibly wish for.

Hey, my mom-in-law went through puberty at 8 years old. She got her period and everything. What is normal is based on the individual, and it sounds like your daughter is a young bloomer. Just support her!

Pretty young to have this problem. Don't make her be embarrassed though. Try Veet or something if you have to help her apply it. She is probably very sensitive at this age and doesn't need her self esteem destroyed. The hair will probably get worse.

your 8yr old isnt that young to have hairy legs, some girls her age start to have signs of puberty, or she did shave them.

I knew of a couple guys at 10 yrs of age who could easily grow a beard so i don't think its that impossible or unusual for her at her age. She is just diff.

Aww... Wax her shaving only makes hair stronger. waxing will weaken her hair and it will grow back less noticeable.

welcome to puberty. girls start purberty as young as 7 I would start talking to her about periods and such because the yare on the way.
