If a Christian backslides, should he/she be rebaptized if repents? How about if they do it several times in their lifetime?

Do you understand what it means to be baptized with Christ? It means you are dying to your old ways and putting on Christ. It means you are made new. Now that doesn't mean that you have achieved perfection. No, you will sin and your old habits will sneak up again. However, you know who you have been committed your life for, and you will have the Holy Spirit who will lead you back to your home. So, you need only be baptized once, and thereafter, you only need to dust yourself off and be the person you were called to be.

If you think you have to be baptized several times then you should give up. If you're that bad that you keep on having a guilty conscience, maybe you should sit down and think about the choices you are making. You don't get to be baptized every time though, it's called being a born-again Christian when you pray to God with a serious weight on your heart that you are dedicated to change and live a more spiritual life... But that is supposed to mean you've changed, which you probably haven't.

There was one example of Christians being re baptized in the Bible in the book of Acts.
They had been baptized by John the Baptist, but they were re baptized in the name of Jesus Christ after encountering the Apostles. Then they received the gift of the Holy Ghost (still given today!).
Acts 19

interior the eyes of Christians and Muslims you're a Christian till you exchange to Islam. i exchange into baptized too, yet i do no longer evaluate myself a Christian because of the fact i do no longer think in God or Jesus or issues like that. So, all that handed off exchange right into a family individuals get inclusive of water being pouring on me.

Your sins are washed away only once - when you are Baptized - if the person needs to confess his sins to the church - he/she will get forgiveness - no need to be re-baptized - not saying it is wrong - but Christians are supposed to ask their fellow Christians for forgiveness and when they forgive God will also.

You CAN be baptized more than once, but it isn't necessary. You need to repent daily of your sins.

All you need to do is to ask God to forgive you of all your sins. baptism doesnt save it is a outward expression of an inward change.
