Everyone needs to get their heart broken at least once, I've dumped a boy and he cried. I just hugged him for a bit and walked away, I didn't want to stay and talk b/c I knew I'd feel bad and give it.
I've also been dumped and cried in front of someone, I know now that I'm older and married that crying like that just made me seem selfish and inmature.

Wow. Well, if it is really important that you are not with him, then you have to sort of "plow through" the tears. There is no really good way to break up with someone, but there are better ways and worse ways. Here is my advice: Break up in person, not over the phone or e-mail. Be as honest as you can. Understand that it is really painful to loose someone, and it makes since that a person would cry in that situation. There is probably no way to stop the tears, but if you really don't want to be with him, don't let the tears change your mind.

Crying doesnt change the fact that you wanted to dump this person for whatever reason. So if you want to break up w/ them, you need to just do it...and treat it like a bandaid...and just do it. You'll be happier and eventually that other person will too!

He cries because he cares for you and the relationship alot, either that or he's using it as a manipulation technique to keep you around. Either way is irrelevant, you need to do what is right for you. You have to look at yourself in the mirror every morning, not him. Not to mention the fact that if you stay with him, you are denying him *and you* the chance of a truly happy and loving relationship.

Well just tell him how you feel. But the truth is if you really don't want to break up with him, you won't. When you do, you will. ANd theres no nice way to break up with someone...especially if thier attached.
P.S. Don't take all crying seriously, trust me..All my BFs cried...screw them

simple, you have to dump him, theres no way around it. of course you could say its over after one date to maybe persuade you against it, so he doesn't cry so much (and its only flattering, not the truth:D) or you could just flat out dump ahim and leave. but remember, its more noble to do it in person. anything else basically sucks.

Just do it....the longer you put if off the worse it will be. He's using the tears to manipulate you, he thinks that as long as you feel sorry for him you won't dump it.

he starts crying? O.O wow he likes u a lot...but if he liked u so much u know its better to stop stringing him along and make it seem like u like him. its better if you tell him the truth cuz u dont want to pretend any longer for it'll probably hurt him more

I don't think there is any easy way to dump someone without them being hurt if they still have feelings for you.
