Let it go - it could even be an old crush, or an ex-girlfriend's name that is embedded in his subconcious, ive almost done it many times because the name either rhymes or i'm used to saying the other girls name so much that it feels natural - you should not be mad - it does not mean that he is thinking of someone else more than you or that he is pretending you are somone else and so doesn't have any real feelings for you - heck my dad was thinking about my cousin sam and called my aunt sam LOL - it happens - don't let a slip of the tongue or a wondering of his thoughts cause a rift in your relationship - if he says he doesn't know her - let it go - if there really is something to it - you'll know in the future. - good luck.

Two options: One - Two wrongs dont make a right but do him the same way and see how he likes it and also use the same excuse he used. Two - Let it go and if it happens again then he's cheating and dump him. Sorry but the truth hurts because this happen to me before with a female...

Depends how long he has been your boyfriend. Over a year yes you should worry. He is either fantasizing or has another woman on the side.

I do that sometimes, I'll call my b/f my sons name or ex, I get
flustered I guess. However, I certainly don't call him someone's
name I don't even know!! I say he's lying big time. If he does'nt
know a girl by that name~why would he do that ? Where is he
getting that name from....Somethings up.....start snoopin.....

Sweetie, you need to watch out and make sure he isnt doing anything, b/c why would he say a girls name that he doesnt know. Watch him and make sure he is not cheating, but let it go unless he does it again.
