I have five cats. It happens all the time. Just sit with them, pet them especially gently under and around the neck area. It's normal. But if there's blood in it or worms, call a vet.

Otherwise, it's completly normal. That is what the vets will tell you. The cat may have eaten it's food too fast or it could be a hairball. It happens to my cats all the time.

One of my cats puked like six time within 15 minutes...freaked me out...but it's probably just a hairball. If it's a full grown cat-wait a few days before taking it to the vet...if it's a kitten...if it's not better in a day, take it to the vet.

I used to stress out all the time because my cat would puke several times a day...I asked the vets about it but they said it was just hairballs. I put my cats on Eukenuba senstive stomach formula, and it helped a lot...but since I had to drive an hour away to get it, I switched to Iams Hairball formula and it has made such a huge difference!!!!! There's still puke every couple days or so...but I have 3 cats...a super long-haired one, a medium haired one with a super thick coat and then a shorthaired.

Please take your cat to the vet. Puking that often may mean he has a health issue. I took my cat to the vet recently because she was puking and as it turned out...I was feeding her the wrong type of food because she has a sensitive stomache. However, in order to get to that diagnosis..the vet had to rule out some other possibilities. The sooner you take your cat to the vet, the better it will be for both of you.

Go to Ask.com and ask the same question. My cat was having problems after she had kittens and a vet actually answered. You need to keep your cat on the same food and not change the brand or it will upset their stomachs.Good Luck I am sure everything will be fine God Bless....

Don't step in it! Cats like to chew on and eat ribbons (like the plastic-like kind on presents), so make sure there are none around. Also, cats are mammals, too, so sometimes they throw up. It could be nothing but a minor upset stomach, but if it keeps going on, or your cat doesn't look too good, then take him or her to the vet.

pick up the food and call you vet. Probably nothing serious, just a hairball but if it continues then you will need to get your cat into be seen

Look in your local area for a vet's office with emergency hours. Call and ask them.

Have you changed food? Is it a hairball?
