They also condone the running of something that is actually called a SLAUGHTER HOUSE and then they are the people who will go and eat this dead meat? What is this religion?

Hmmm. Where to start?

Well, first of all, Christ's followers all happen to be human beings who are prone to failure and sin. Being a Christian doesn't somehow endow you with the ability to live a perfect life. We all still have a sinful nature. Over our lives God tries to help us live better and better lives, but we can't achieve perfection.

As to the eating of meat, Paul teaches us that we are not bound to rules about what we eat as the ancient Israelites were. We are under a new covenant.

The Old Testament teaches that we have dominion over the earth and all the animals, so it's no sin to eat meat. You may disagree with that, but at least try to understand the other side before sitting in self righteous judgement over it.

Im not sure what you mean by the Slaughter House... but if its about eating meat, there are no restrictions on foods for a Christian. Interesting you ask about "His Followers" why they are drunks and politicians and such. Do you know who Jesus hung out with when He was on Earth? Tax collectors and prostitutes... the lowest of the low.... Did Jesus condone their behavior? No He didn't but He loved them anyway and they changed due to that love. There are also nasty people who claim to be Christians who are not and sometimes people get confused. But let me ask, would you really preffer it if Christians were sinless perfect people? Would you become one then? Of course you wouldnt, because you cannot live sinless or perfectly. No one can, not even me.

You know Im among the lowest of the low and I dont make myself out to be the picture of Christianity but I am soooooo glad "The Doctor" didnt come to heal the healthy.

Why do you care so much about the SLAUGHTER HOUSE that is killing animals, but not the SLAUGHTER HOUSE that is killing unborn babies?

Not all Christians are drunks, corrupt politicians, cheaters, etc.

Just because someone calls themself a Christian doesn't mean that they are a true follower of Christ. And there is not a single sinless Christian ... so if you're trying to find one, you never will. True Christ-followers try their best to live as He did.

We are all sinners. We will continue to sin even after becoming a Christian. We come to Jesus to learn and because we are sinners. We do not become Christians because we are perfect before we become one,we become Christians because we are flawed.Faith in a specific higher power that is what Christianity is about. As far as the religion you are referencing above,I am not sure what you are talking about unless you are asking about our meat consumption?????Eating meat and my Christianity are unrelated-

You obvioulsly have little or no familiarity with the Bible. There are many passages which indicate how God is incenced and very angry about the sins that are done, passages in the NT indicating clearly that the drunk, fornicators, ect... will not enter heaven, passages which talk about the apostacy of the churches in the last days, passages which indicate that there were those who preached Jesus who were not of the teachings of Jesus. And then there are also the scorners, like yourself.

This is a problem with any religion. People are people (apologies for quoting a horrible Depeche Mode song). The problems you describe are not unique to any one religion. A person is good or bad (let's say flawed - I doubt anyone is truly evil) because of who they are, not because of what religious affiliation they belong to.

Religion was invented as a means to rationalize moral behavior. Unfortunately, people through the years have twisted their religious beliefs to also rationalize immoral behavior.

First off I say judge the actions. Do they stand up to the claims that the person makes, if not then they are a liar. That plain that simple. When one claims a faith, in this case a faith in Christ then that person is suppose to model their life after that of Christ. There are suppose to put others before themselves, be meek, and not draw attention to themselves. Their faith is not suppose to be self serving. You should be able to see their faith in the actions not their words. Words mislead but actions can condemn.

I claim faith in Christ and by doing so them I have to learn what he taught, and model the way I life after that. I become a target and if I don't practice what I claim then it shows. Who would believe me if I claim the faith but I live like hell. That's what truly is unbelievable.

I can't base my faith on what others do wrong, I can't answer for them nor would I want to. It is about the relationship and the walk. I invite those who don't believe to judge me. I'm not pushing anything on them that they don't want. I just say that I have made my choice, and you can believe what you wish.

You have to remember that the Bible has been translated from Hebrew to Greek to Latin to English, there is no direct parampara system of knowledge, hence all the various schisms. Some of those schisms are slanted toward what man wants rather then God.

Please... If you know someone who commits those things such as drinking, corrupting politicians, cheaters etc. then it is not good to call themselves "christians", they are just destroyers who want to portray Christianity as a bad religion. And I believe they dont have the right to call themselves Christian. They are manifulators.
