Geeze, how about EVERYTHING!
Well, that's not true. Everything you need to live can kill you in enough quantity (air, water, electricity, love?)
These sorts of riddles are too easy to answer cause there's multiple possibilities. Try one of the one where "The rich want me, the poor have me, and were you to eat me you would surely die. What am I?" The answer to that one, of course, is "nothing"
