They do speak a different language and ask a lot of sex questions. Most of them silly or weird. They do add some amusement I guess like the others have stated. I'm 35 and love to go on this site at least once a day!!

I have to say I asked the same question a couple of days ago. There are a lot more 'non-teen' people out there than you think. I enjoy hearing some of their comments and their questions also. It puts a good chuckle in my day to see what is going through their minds. Of course, I do have a couple of teenage children of my own, so that helps with understanding their minds.
Don't fret, the 'non-teen' people are out here, just takes a little bit more time to find them! ;)

38. Ripe old age, I guess. I talk to the teens - why not? I remember my teen years quite well. I was bright, articulate, and had many great ideas. I've learned and grown since then (of course), but that doesn't invalidate my teenage self.

I am 44. It's not that teens speak a different language, it's that they take English and butcher it."how r u?"
Pet peeve.
And, no, not all teens do that.

Hi, Jim, how are you? I am well beyond my teen years, thank goodness. Theres does to seem to a lot of young people on this site. I must admit they do add a certain amusement and humor to Yahoo! Anwers that may not exist without them. Happy asking and answering!!!

Know how to tell the difference.... Look at the spelling within the message and you can always tell when it's a teen...

I am 51, look and feel younger.
Talk to teens, listen to them and try to find out what makes them go now days, you will re-discover that almost nothing has really changed.
