Lice are born by hot weather and keeping the scalp dirty. If a child does not wash their head on a regular basis, lice are born. They spread from kids playing together. It is not necessary that ur kid uses their comb but just sitting and playing together spreads lice. There r special shampoos to remove lice and a special comb. You have to use the shampoo two or three times and the lice comb twice a day to get rid of lice, they spread real fast.

Head lice is not from being dirty or having dirty hair. Head lice actually prefer nice clean hair as they dislike oil very, very much.

Kids get lice from other people, if they are old enough, mine are not, this might be a good time to teach them about stds.

If a kid does not wash the hair lice are born? From what? Lice are living creatures. They have to spread from person to person as they cannot live long without a human host.

Sharing hair goods. Children should not share coats, hats, combs, and if there is a lice outbreak, it is a good idea to have children put their coats in bags while at school. Lice crawl and do not hop. Hope this helps.

playing with other kids, sharing brushes and combs, hanging hats and coats in closets or on pegs that are close together. but in general lice are gymnasts they just like to pole vault and do the long jump. till they land on human heads. and like i have said before they aren't biased they like all hair clean or dirty so don't let any one tell you it is because of bad hygiene

HI FIRST of all you don't get lice from being dirty. My daughter went through hell with that for years now she's 18 and it is gone. It is enbedded in your carpet. If your kid plays with barbie dolls get rid of them they get in the hair. They get it from schools that have carpet in them. They get it from neighbors that have 3 or more children. It multiplies like nothing in this world. When I lived in Alabama it was terrible. For my advice move out of that old house you are living in or get rid of the carpet. Don't use cold water in your washing machine only hot water kills them. they get in your bedding and carpet. To get rid of lice you have to get rid of everything serious proof here. My daughter was tormented with it. They get in your vacuum cleaner. If you need any advice email me.

they jump from one to the other or they touch heads with the person that has them, bedsheets clothing and boy are they hard to get rid of but this is how:first of all do not get upset its quite common, go to drug store buy shampoo, comb etc.the secrete to getting rid of them is to use the same lighted magnifying glass they use at school. they sent sandy home once twice and the third time i insisted the school nurse let me use her system to see them so that i could get rid of them;it worked,i could see every thing.the problem is its hard to kill their tiny eggs stuck to the bottom of hair and by the way a lot of other parents took my lead to correct this problem.druggest can tell you same but if you are embarresed then read the over the counter products.

Unsanitary living conditions, sharing combs or hairbrushes, any place that's really dirty is where those little buggers like to hide out!
