12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Read how Jesus responded to temptation in Matthew 4, as well as I Corinthians 10: 13.

Well you can pray to God to help you to overcome it, like in Jesus' Model Prayer. Also, there are: Matthew 26:41; 1Timothy 6:9

The best one is found at 1Corinthians 10:13 - "No temptation has taken you except what is common to men. But God is faithful, and he will NOT let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out in order for you to be able to endure it."

:) hope it helps.

1Co 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

God is faithful.

Jam 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

1 Corinthians 10:13
"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted He will provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."

Why do you need to read from the scriptures? Do you not already know right from wrong?

Do what is right. You already know what that is. You don't need to be told. Geez...God expects you to be responsible for your own choices and to behave appropriately. Seeking to find the answer in the bible, when you already know the answer is just a cop out because you don't want to assume responsibility for your own behavior.

Grow up! God expects you to use your head, not a book.

I suggest Chapter 17, verse 23, the Book of Armaments.

And lo, the Lord did look down upon His enemies, and He was displeased. Sayeth the Lord, "I shall smite thee." And He did blow them to tiny bits, in His mercy.

We ARE talking Monty Python scriptures, aren't we?
