Wow, that sounds very serious. He could have feline leukemia, dental disease, or oral cancer. I would take him to the vet ASAP

Depending on several things, it could be easy to fix or the sign of a fatal disease.
How old is the cat? How long has this been happening? Has the cat been vaccinated against the usual diseases? Has the cat been eating canned catfood its whole life and How long have you had it?
One: If the cat is a senior and has been eating moist cat food its whole life it probably has gingivitis.. a serious disease of the teeth, plaque is calcifivorous growths on the teeth that is loaded with bacteria.
Two: The cat is a kitten and is losing its baby teeth.
Three, the cat has a form of Cat Aids... it is fatal. and the cat needs to be put to sleep as it is suffering GREATLY.
Four. If it has been vaccinated, is not full of worms, or has not been poisoned then again I would say that perhaps its gingivitis... gum disease.
In ANY case, there is nothing you can do until you go to a veterinarian and find out what is going on and go from there. Do it very soon, no doubt the cat is in GREAT PAIN!! Ginger

Take him to the vet immediately! My sister's cat had to have a tooth removed becausse it was infected. His mouth had an unpleasant odor, too, that we had noticed (different that the cat's normal bad cat breath) and some redness. Your cat is probably in pain because of it, so get your cat some help asap!

well, your cats breath could stink for many reasons...
Your cat eats meat from a can. Licks itself daily, even in the areas where you shouldn't normally lick.. oh, and, i assume you don't brush the cats teeth.
what do you mean its leaking?.. LOL, is it drooling or something? maybe its just supposed to drool.. well, you could call your vet about the leaking part, but as for the breath, sorry buddy, i've yet to smell a cat with a minty fresh mouth.
EDIT;
i take my cat to a vet, and it has bad breath, smells like his food that he just ate, and he goes to the vet regulary and hes fine, but definetly go to the vet about the whole leaking thing, i dont actually think cats are supposed to drool, but you never know eh?

Dental care is very important in geriatric cats. You should have your cat’s mouth examined by your veterinarian. Loose teeth and infected gums can cause your cat oral pain or discomfort, and can lead to problems in other body systems. Only your veterinarian can properly assess the degree of dental disease present and whether dental work is truly needed

Take him to the vet for treatment. He ought to have an infection which needs antibiotics. that is probable very painful for him and the faster you've him dealt with, the added ideal. The discomfort will subside and the an infection gained't unfold if he receives antibiotics straight away.

your cat can have alot of things, bad teeth and gums, or if an outside cat can have ulcers due to the fact that he chases and kills rodents which is very commom with outside cats...take it to a vet.
