I prefer Living Sacrifice, though As I Lay Dying is good too. Should check out Living Sacrifice if you like hardcore stuff. and I haven't heard of dcTalk.

I like dc Talk. My favorite is probably Third Day. : )
And Creed is not a Christian band. They've gone out of their way to say they aren't. They may have some Christian themes in some of their songs, but they dabble in Buddhism (I know it was either Buddhism or Hinduism but can't remember for sure.) I was really hoping they were Christian because I like a lot of their music. Now I can't listen to it in the same way though, knowing what I know.

it depends on how u classify "christian band." underoath, he is legend, august burns red, haste the day, norma jean, and the chariot are all christian but i doubt they fit ur title of "christian band" because they dont play easy-going, soft music. these are all hard-rock, metal, alternative bands. however, they are all in fact christian. for example, underoath's old singer got kicked out because he had sex before he got married (or at least thats what i've been told). but anyways: of these, he is legend is my favorite. underoath a close second.

Mine isn't a band, but I like Michael W Smith. Oh, I also like TobyMac. DC Talk's cool, too although they're not my favorite.
