Yup..especially when ur in the sun..i havent tried it but my cousin has...and thats what she did..dumped her hair in lemon juice and stayed in the sun for over an hour..then washed it out (its hard to get out she said)...and now til this day her hair is light..and thats been over a year ago...but it keeps getting lighter and lighter..so u might want to be careful...good luck

yes it does. if you put lemon juice in your hair then sit in the sun, your hair will be blonder. another home-remedy for blonder hair is hydrogen peroxide - cheaper than tons of lemons.

Absolutely, If you've ever seen the product Sun-in, smell it and it smells just like lemon juice, probably based with it.

yes it does! a better mix would be to use some chamomile tea with the lemon juice...not as harsh on your hair.

Yes, it does. I've used it on my brown hair to lighten it too.
The only thing is that is does dry your hair out too so use a good conditioner.
