About two they start to understand they are different then girls and they start to realize mommy has body parts different then they do. I feel its ok to let them understand that this is because they are a boy and that mommy is a girl. Right about the age of three start telling them that bath time is mommys time and so on, and by the time they are four they are old enough to hold themselves from going to the toilet and interupting your private time, and its a good way to have your space and keep them from being too curious while your in the bathroom. imho
Pray it helps

My son is 8 mnths. and he no longer takes baths or showers with me. It is a very uncomfortable situation for me as I had a rough childhood. I think that when your son knows the difference between a boy and a girl, they no longer need to be in the bathroom with you at all. I feel that a little girl shouldn't take showers or baths with her mother for longer than neccessary, though, too. I think it all comes down to you and how comfortable you are with him being in there.

Better question is, how old should a mom be who takes bath with a kid, in nude.
Mom can be in the bathroom until the kid is about 10, but she shouldn't take bath with him at any age!

Depends on the boy. I can imagine that a severely develpmentally disabled boy might never have an issue with it. As soon as he starts really noticing/staring, you know it's time. I'd say sometime around 4 or so in most cases.
